Standard Deviation
Let's add a formula and calculate Standard Deviation (Mean/Standard Deviation are gnerally reported together in research reports). First type in Standard Deviation in A12. Then type =STDEV(B5:B9) in the white, rectangle bar at the top used for editing.

Move your mouse until you see the fill handle and while holding down the left mouse button, scroll horizontally across to highlight C12 and D12. The Standard Deviation equation will automatically be set for the corresponding columns as shown in Image Two.
